It had been a while since I’d properly listened to any Garbage and I’d forgotten just how catchy some of their early work was. Fortunately, Stupid Girl happened to show up during some of my weekly Top of the Pops viewing and prodded enough tired memories to the surface that I now know what I’ll be listening to this afternoon.

One of them would have been me, as my “department”, such as it was, had been eliminated, but I ended up mometarily moving from “clienteng” over to the “website” division. For about 48 hours I thought that I might end up writing a webmail product or something.

86Box config for RedHat 4.X
Recently I’ve been playing around in 86Box (build 3.7.1 for MacOS to be precise!) with 1997’s Red Hat Linux 4.2. After a little fiddling I seem to have got it mostly working – with one major caveat; I have had real issues with getting X/FVWM to work with any other display resolution than 640*480. Should I come up with a solution I shall, of course, update this page.
