While I’ve mentioned F. R. Stubbs before, I don’t think I’ve actually posted the Stubbs ghost sign that sits on the corner of Merchantgate and Walmgate.
Not far from this on there’s also a second Stubbs sign hidden away. It’s painted on the wall between the old Stubbs building and the new apartments on Merchantgate.
As you can see, it’s just about visible on StreetView.
