TopperBlog returns with a set of Remembrance Toppers and other knitwear. I’m not posting any images from the memorial itself as I’m sure there are far better pictures from the service on Sunday already online.
There’s been a lot of work put into these commemorations and, sadly, I’m not entirely sure I’ve managed to find them all.

The Marketplace Post Box
‘Lest We Forget’ by the Post Office. The boots and the helmet had really stood up to the effects of the weather.

The War Memorial Gardens
There were two large waterfalls of knitted poppies at the memorial – a sheet facing Yorkergate…

…and a fall from the park’s tree.

There were also a number of poppy-crosses on the benches…

…and individual poppies attached to the railings facing Horsemarket Road

The Shambles and Cosy Cottage
There was a second topper at the postbox outside of Cosy Cottage. Again, this had stood up well to the effects of the weather.

Bollard toppers at the south end of the Shambles.

Other
There were also a number of knitted poppies scattered around the market place, either atop of bollards…

…or attached to lampposts.
