The Guardian on… Cults.

Apparently, in those more freeform pre-Blair-government days of February 1997, The Guardian (or at least those parts of the Guardian who worked Saturdays to put out the Observer) decided to put out a guide to cults.

And it’s a very odd thing indeed. Apart from a few modestly placed links at the bottom of some of the pages, there’s absolutely no branding at all! In fact, to a modern eye, the whole thing feels closer to a Geocities page than anything a mainstream publication would put out.
